What is Microneedling?
Controlled collagen-induction treatment for selected acne scars, texture, pores, fine lines and body remodelling concerns.
What it may help with
Potential Benefits
  • Stimulates a controlled skin-repair response

  • Supports collagen-focused remodelling

  • May improve the appearance of selected acne scars and uneven texture

  • Can be used on face or selected body areas after assessment

Acne scarring, enlarged pores, uneven texture, fine lines and selected body-remodelling concerns.

Who is it suitable for?

Adults with suitable acne scarring, texture, pores, fine lines, stretch marks or selected scars. Active infection, active inflammatory acne in the treatment area, poor healing risk and a history of problematic keloids can alter suitability.

Downtime & aftercare

Redness, warmth, dryness and sensitivity are common for the first few days. Avoid picking, strong active products, heat exposure and unprotected sun while the skin barrier is recovering.

Frequently asked questions

  • Can microneedling treat active acne?

Microneedling is generally used for selected scarring and texture concerns rather than needling through active inflamed acne. Active breakouts should be assessed first.

  • Is microneedling suitable for darker skin tones?

It can be suitable for many darker skin tones when performed conservatively, but post-inflammatory pigmentation risk means assessment, technique and aftercare matter.

  • How long does redness last?

Redness and sensitivity are common for the first one to three days, although recovery varies with treatment depth and individual skin response.

  • Can it remove scars completely?

No. The aim is improvement in appearance and texture, not guaranteed complete removal.
