Hey guys! We're arriving in Barcelona at 6am and heading straight to Salou afterwards. There are three of us adults and we have a lot of luggage. I'd prefer not to catch a taxi on the spot, especially since I've heard that taxi drivers are charging 140 or 160 euros. Has anyone booked a transfer in advance? Are they really cheaper, and will they rip me off?

Are you sure you want to risk trying to find a taxi when you arrive? We did that the first time, and it was a huge mistake! The driver turned on the meter and took a detour, which cost us 145 euros. On the way back, I was smarter and booked a transfer with GetTransfer https://gettransfer.com/en/directions/spain/salou . The driver met us right at the exit, helped us with our luggage, and the trip took exactly one hour. I should mention that the trip only cost 95 euros. Oh, and they only charged us after the trip was over.
